These can be frozen prior to deep frying. I have made a similar recipe by taking a fresh piece of cheese cake and wrapping it. In a soft tortilla and freezing them, then deep frying at a later date.

  • 8 oz. cream cheese-softened
  • 4 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups cherries from cherry pie filling
  • vegetable oil-for frying
  • 1 Tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sugar
