Easy Pecan Pie Cheesecake Bars

Update – made this for Thanksgiving and it was a hit! It was gone before I even got a chance to taste it, LOL. That’s okay, I’ll just have to make it again. My sister in law who normally doesn’t eat desserts said she had 2 pieces and my 26 year old son asked if we brought any home as leftovers. No leftovers this time! Thanks for sharing the recipe!


Easy Pecan Pie Cheesecake Bars! Featuring a crunchy graham cracker crust, creamy cheesecake filling, and pecan pie filling on top, this dessert recipe is a total showstopper. Perfect for Thanksgiving or Christmas!

INGREDIENTS

For the Graham Cracker Crust:

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs 
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 ounces unsalted butter, melted

For the Cheesecake Bars:

  • 3 (8 ounce) packages full-fat cream cheese, softened 
  • 1 cup full-fat sour cream, at room temperature 
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar 
  • 3 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs + 2 egg yolks, at room temperature
  • 2 Tablespoons bourbon (optional) 
  • 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour

For the Pecan Pie Topping:

  • 12 Tablespoons unsalted butter (6 ounces)
  • 1 and 2/3 cups dark brown sugar, packed 
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • 2/3 cup heavy cream 
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt 
  • 4 cups pecans, whole or chopped 
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 and 1/2 Tablespoons bourbon (optional)
